Mandy
In a mountain cabin idyll in 1983, lumberjack Red (Nicolas Cage) lives in harmony with his love Mandy (Andrea Riseborough), but their bliss is shattered when a ragtag band of Satanic cultists invade their humble abode and claim Mandy for their own. Left broken and distraught, Red is left with no option but to exact terrible and bloody revenge.
Nicolas Cage’s infamous performance style reaches new heights in this blood-soaked, psychedelic revenge thriller. Hypnotic and dizzyingly stylised with a thundering score, Mandy is a deeply surreal, visual trip through the fiery gates of hell.
‘Fabulously ferocious… Nicolas Cage is on magnificent, mind-boggling form as a chainsaw-wielding lumberjack hunting the gang who invaded his home.’ - Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian
‘A primal revenge drama that’s inventive, funny and very macabre.’ - Geoffrey Macnab, The Independent
