Leeds Young Film Festival
Leeds Young Film Festival is proud to present its 22nd edition entirely online with a programme of films from across the globe and suitable for the whole family.
Pre-schoolers will be delighted by the antics of the furry, troublesome duo Kiwi and Strit and the Australian animations Combat Wombat and Daisy Quokka will introduce you to the colourful inhabitants of Sanctuary City. There are lots of mysteries to be solved by youthful sleuths in The Peppercorns and the Mystery of the Deep Sea, Sijha the Rebel Fairy and Jerrymaya’s Detective Agency - The Secret of the Train Robber, while dusty museums are given a new lease of life in Jackie & Oopjen and Triple Trouble. Sky Raiders, Team Marco and My Dad is A Sausage (which wins the award for the funniest title of the festival) are heart-warming stories of intergenerational relationships demonstrating that youthful spirit and the wisdom of age makes a great team. With nearly twenty films to choose from there truly is something for the whole family.
Most of the films available on the Player can be rented at any time during LYFF 2021, with a small number of exceptions. Some of the films will have a maximum number of rentals available.
